Croquet at Linville Ridge, NC

Croquet

The sport of croquet is alive and vibrant in the Linville Ridge community. Two expertly manicured croquet lawns are graciously nestled in a picturesque setting with Grandfather Mountain in the background. Both beginners and seasoned veterans will find their place with an ongoing schedule of social and tournament play.

Join us in a competitive sport in a relaxed social atmosphere. The basics are easy to learn, and yet there's always a new level for those who seek a challenge. You can enhance your experience through a lesson or a clinic with our teaching pros.

All the necessary equipment (mallets, balls, deadness boards, and clips) to accommodate new and continuing players is provided.

We arrived at Linville Ridge with excited anticipation of enjoying the pleasant weather, as well daily rounds of golf. We didn't expect to enjoy the game of croquet as much as we did.  The croquet lawns are beautifully manicured and the community offers world-class croquet instruction for beginners and advanced players.  Learning to play was one of the highlights of our summer and we now have a new sport to enjoy! - Donna & Will Bobb
